Sassy was a black & tan girl out of Am & Can Ch Philpot's John Paul Jones (a result of crossing Von Relgib & Fleming bloodlines) to Moonlight Sonata ( Cookie), my first brindle female rescued from a colour breeder who perisihed in a kennel fire trying to save her dogs near Calgary,
Alberta. Cookies's sire came out of Moffett bloodlines and her dam was of unknown origin, i.e., none of her
ancestors were of any renown except for carrying the brindle gene. Sassy was a nice sound bitch who, like many I finished
over the years, was never bred. One can only breed so many litters and raise them properly!
